...but it doesn't look like Honolulu Part Two

Since my last post when I was reporting on our trip to Boston, Portland, Maine and Plymouth Rock with a couple of days in Atlanta we came home , rested a week and left for Portland, Oregon. We flew to Salt Lake City, then instead of getting a flight to Portland we flew to Medford, Oregon and rented a car. The weather was beautiful - in the 70's and I took this picture at a rest stop on our five hour drive to Portland. We ate lunch at the White Horse Inn in Sumerlin, Oregon and it had a bird aviary. The food was good and the owner (?) gave us a free strawberry shake and a piece of rum raisin pie - UMM. It rained the next two days but it felt great. We stayed with our friends, June and Gene Anderson in Vancouver, Washington and when we weren't attending Columbia College (now Cascade) reunion activities or driving around and looking at the apts/houses we lived in we were playing pinochle with June and Gene. When we lived in Vancouver we played at least once a week.

Here is a picture outside the Johnson Center at Cascade College. Aren't the roses beautiful?

I haven't been posting since we got back and I am not sure why. I may be losing interest in blogging - I haven't even been reading others blogs. But I am going to do that right now.
